Social Promotion

Social Promotion currently allows you to post to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+. Each time you go to Promote a page, you will be prompted to select the account that you wish to post to.

  1. Find the page you want to update and open it for editing.
  2. Once you are in editing mode for a specific page, you will see a blue button that says PROMOTE.Social Promotion

  3. The Contributor Wizard will now pop-up in your browser like below and you can click the button that says "Get Started" to begin.

  4. You will then see a list of social accounts that your administrators have configured. The screenshot below is an example.

    Check off the buttons on the right hand side (like below) for the social accounts that you want to publish to and then click the button at the bottom left that says Write.

  5. You will now be at the Writing stage of the wizard. Here, you can fill in what you want your post to say, add hashtags, and attach an image that is on the page you are promoting content from. Once you are done filling out all of the areas circled in red below, click on the button that says Configure (circled in green below).

  6. Now, you will see the Post Configuration screen. This is where you tell the tool when you want the post to be released/published (day and time), along with other details for the page.

  7. Now, you are brought to the Preview screen of the wizard. You can see what your post will look like on the social networks that you chose to post to in a previous step.

  8. Once you confirm that the above looks good, you can click on Finish and you are done!
