The Getting Started Guide walks system administrators through the basics steps to get productive using the Percussion CMS from installation to setting up publishing.
One of the first decisions you will need to make is whether or not to start your project by using LiveFirst to import your site. See the LiveFirst overview of that option to see if it is right for you.

Version 5.3 is now available.
The Support Portal page provides details on the latest version of the Percussion CMS installer.
Each release contains a combination of new features as well as bug fixes. The Release Notes page documents what's contained in the latest version. You can also access Release Notes for prior releases.
Introduction to the User Interface
Percussion CM1 was designed to support organizations that want to delegate content contribution out to non-technical users. Users can be oriented to the user interface with very minimal training, so users can focus on content strategy within the workflow governance specific to your organization.
